OUR HISTORY

Manteca Development Group is the leading Real Estate Developer in the Central Valley for over 20 years. Founded in the 1990's under the name, AKF Development, LLC. AKF Development was originally formed by Micheal Atherton, Bingham Kirk, and William Filios in the 1990's. The three developers operated out of the Spreckels Sugar Factory on Norman Drive in Manteca, California. One of the development projects that put AKF Development on the map is the 362 acre mixed use development project called, Speckels Business Park, located in Manteca, California. Speckels Business Park development was the economic force for Manteca during that time. 

Currently the businesses that operate within Speckels Business Park are: Home Depot, Starbucks, Target, Chevron, Jamba Juice, In and Out Burger, Carl's Junior, La Belle Nail and Spa, Peir One, Frito Lay Warehouse, TJ Max, Staples, Food 4 Less, Petsmart, and many more. 

In 2012 Bill Filios and Art Nunes of AKF Development changed it's name and is now known as Manteca Development Group, LLC. Manteca Development Group is known for development projects and land acquisitions such as: Dell Webb at Woodbridge Center, Woodbridge Center East, Yosemite Square Business Park and Residential Community, The Union Ranch Project, Terra Ranch, and Austin Road Business Park.
